Youth at Risk is commissioned by the Haringey Community Safety Team, under the wider Mayor of London’s VRU pan-London programme; the aim is identifying & engaging young people aged 18-24 considered ‘at risk’ :
- criminality
- NEET (Not in Education or Employment Training)
- negative peer group/gang affiliation
- previous history of offending
- substance misuse related risk
- anti-social behaviour
- illegal profiteering
- victim/perpetrator of violent crime
- county lines
- sexual exploitation
Haringey Works provide specialist, person-centred employment support to help Youth at Risk into relevant work or training.
