Haringey Construction

Construction accounts for about 10% of the UK’s employment and is the sign of a healthy economy. Simply put, construction is the process of building. This could be housing, commercial, infrastructure or offsite manufacturing (think 3D printing).

When people think of construction jobs, many people may immediately think of trades like carpentry, drylining (plaster work), electrics and plumbing. While these are well paying and rewarding trades, there are other disciplines such as quantity surveying, project management, site management, technical design, engineering, community investment and business administration, that are often overlooked.

There are many routes of entry to construction, find out what it is really like to work in construction by watching this video.
